What WHIF collects

WHIF does not offer reader accounts or collect search terms entered in the on-site archive. Its hosting provider processes ordinary connection information needed to deliver the site.

Analytics

WHIF uses Google Analytics 4 to understand readership, including page visits, approximate location, device information and interactions. Analytics storage is disabled by default and enabled only when a visitor accepts optional storage.

Advertising

WHIF uses Google AdSense to verify the site and, after Google approval, display advertising. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are disabled by default and enabled only after consent. Google may process information according to its own privacy policies.

Your choice

You may accept or reject optional storage from the privacy notice. You can change your choice later using “Privacy settings” in the footer. Rejecting optional storage does not prevent access to WHIF.

Images and local features

Article images are AI-generated illustrative scenes served directly by WHIF. Search filters content already loaded in the browser. Copying an article link uses the clipboard only after the reader presses the button.
